Day 1: Marrakech-Ait Benhaddou-Ouarzazate to Dades Valley

Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a picturesque clay castle with captivating architecture. Divided into two parts – one in ruins and the other still inhabited – it seamlessly blends with nature and showcases human ingenuity. Lunch will be enjoyed at this historic site, famous for featuring in numerous international films. In the afternoon, continue the journey to Dades Valley, passing through breathtaking landscapes.

Day 2: Dades Valley—Todra Gorges to Merzouga Camel Trek

After breakfast, travel to Todra Gorges, the narrow valley nestled between the highest mountains in the region. Experience unforgettable moments amidst panoramic mountain views and the Oasis’s natural beauty, which enhances the tranquility of the valley. Take a leisurely mid-day break, enjoying lunch, before progressing to Merzouga through Tinjdad and small Berber villages. Pass by Erfoud, known for fossils, and Rissani, a bustling market city. Reach Merzouga, the desert city, where a camel trek awaits to spend the night in a camp amid sand dunes, offering a magical experience under the stars with Berber drumming.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert, Ziz Valley, Cedar Forest and Fez

Before breakfast, embark on a camel ride to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, journey to explore the beauty of Ziz Valley, boasting the longest palm tree Oasis in Morocco. Pass through Tizi N Telghamt to Midelt, the apple capital, and Zaida for a Berber lunch. Continue to the Cedar forest, encountering Berber Monkeys and Horses, and explore Azrou before heading to Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, travel to Fez for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring Fez

Enjoy breakfast before delving into the rich history of Fez, an ancient city with a diverse population. Explore the UNESCO-listed old Medina, home to historic landmarks like the University of Karaouine, the first university in Morocco. Visit Attarine and Bou Inania Medrasas, Walls with Marinid architecture, Nejjarine Fountain, and more. Immerse yourself in Fez’s cultural heritage, ensuring a day filled with awe-inspiring monuments. Conclude the day with accommodation.

Day 5: Fez, Volubilis and Meknes to Chefchaouen

After breakfast, head to Volubilis, an ancient Berber city with Roman influences and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the partially restored ruins, witnessing the fusion of different cultures over the centuries. Move on to Meknes, an imperial city with sizable walls that resemble an old castle. Discover the Plaza of Lhdim Bab Mensour, old Souks, Sahrij Souani, Museum Belkari, and Borj Belakri. Continue the journey to Chefchaouen via Ouazzaen for accommodation.

Day 6: Chefchaouen to Fez
